Engineering projects: a thesis on energy-efficient mills (CAD, multiphysics FEM), an AutoMod simulation of Ravenna's container terminal with automated guided vehicles, and two study tools for structural mechanics and materials science.
- 2025 Energy Efficiency in Industrial Mills Bachelor Thesis · Mechanical Engineering My bachelor thesis. Two grinding mills designed from scratch to cut the avoidable losses of a tumbling mill, one that is its own electric motor and a static one that moves its charge with electromagnetic fields, both modelled in 3D CAD and tested with FEM simulations.
- 2026 Frame Design: A Structural Solver Built for Students Personal Project · Educational Tool A web tool for checking the beams, frames and trusses students practise on. Build the structure on a grid, press Solve, and read the reactions, the internal-force diagrams and a plain safety verdict. A trial version runs in the browser.
- 2026 Automating Ravenna's Port with AGVs: A Simulation in AutoMod University Project · Logistic Simulation Lab Our final project for Logistic Simulation Lab. We modelled the container terminal of Ravenna's port, where containers are still moved by manual internal transport, and automated it with a fleet of ten AGVs and four cranes, using real distances and a 500-container input file.
- 2026 Interactive Iron–Carbon Diagram Personal Project · Materials Science A dense metallurgy chart that you read by pointing at it. Hover over a phase, click for its full sheet, or cool a steel and watch which phases it passes through.
